Artist's own unique sculpture. Nike was first cast in aluminium in 1971. Then, in 2012, following a discussion with the Lockbund Foundry who were investigating silver plating bronzes, James Butler asked them to cast this piece for himself. He exhibited the silver plated Nike at the RA the subsequent year and then kept it in his studio thereafter.

On an tapering 8 inch high black marble base, 4 inches at the top and 5 inches at the base.
