I will never forget coming down the long stairs in the pavilion, through the applauding MCC Members in the Long Room, down the white steps and out onto to that lush green Lord's turf for the first time with 3 lions on my chest. A Test debut is one thing, but to make it at Lord's on the greatest stage of all, priceless!
