Paul Slater (Born 1953)
Lancashire-born Paul Slater studied at Maidstone College of Art (1971-74) and the Royal College of Art (1975-78). He has since worked in all forms of illustration, and has contributed to numerous periodicals, including the Express Saturday Magazine, the Evening Standard and the Radio times. However, he is probably best known for his weekly illustrations which, since 1990, have accompanied Jonathan Meade’s ‘Eating Out’ page each Saturday in The Times Magazine. He now lives in Buckinghamshire and continues to paint.
