Indirectly, this is a souvenir of Velazquez's painting, los borrachos (the topers), painted in 1626-28. though Brabazon saw and copied the original, which is in the Prado, in Madrid, his drawing here, of the three heads to the right of Bacchus, was made from a very good pastel copy of Velazquez's painting in the Museo di Capodimonte, in Naples.
