'The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, was at Cop26 in Glasgow and suggested the failure to act would possibly be more grave than when leaders ignored warnings about the Nazis in the Thirties. My immediate thought was John Cleese and Fawlty Towers. Welby later apologised but he can be such a fool at times.' Peter Brookes
