Robert Meyrick: The title is derived from an inscription on a glass-ribbed wash board in the 18th century apartment in Edinburgh where Jennifer and Edgar Holloway stayed for three weeks at the time of his one man show at the Open Eye Gallery. The model was Jennifer.
