Jeremy Fisher was produced in two versions, Jeremy Fisher and Jeremy Fisher Digging. This model is the first version of Jeremy Fisher (smaller size 3 inches) he was modelled by Arthur Gredington in 1950 and has spots on his legs and head. Arthur Gredington was appointed Chief Modeller to Beswick in 1939.
This model has the rare BP2A backstamp and was produced between 1955-72 when the base or back stamps were in gold. (Beswick was sold to Doulton in 1969 and changed the stamp to brown in 1972) .
