There is a finished watercolour of the same view taken from the south bank of the Piave river.
Belluno is in the Veneto in the eastern Dolomites. The 18th century bell tower by architect Juvarra and the Romanesque Basilica of San Martino rise above the Piave river with the remains of the old bridge in the foreground, still visible today.
