Furniture Designer Frank Wenstrom commissioned this artwork from Betty Swanwick as a promotional picture for his business. It is reported that he did not like the result, and Betty Swanwick nicknamed it 'The Wrong Chair for the Occasion'. Prints were made and sold, and despite his initial dislike, Frank Wenstrom bought the original picture.
