Mortehoe, on the north coast of Devon is situated in a valley to the east of the rocky peninsula of Morte Point. Whose dramatic rock formations were not only the cause of many shipwrecks and featured in several of Goodwin’s watercolours. Here, the village of Mortehoe catches the evening sunlight, with Morte Point in the distance.
