People were saying his wife could have held an umbrella for him, but that would have looked sexist. In the background of his speech, someone was playing Things Can Only Get Better. In Sunak's case, things could only get wetter. I wish I had thought of that pun on the day. Instead, I came up with this slightly tortuous one." - Peter Brookes
