"John McDonnell and others were all for scrapping the two-child benefit cap. So Starmer got rid of them, suspending seven MPs who rebelled against him on the issue. I'm happy with the political point I've made here: that Starmer is acting the 'strongman' and being completely over the top. Quite early on in his premiership, he wanted to show who was boss.
