This week we hosted a watercolour masterclass by artist Lesley Fotherby. This work is a result of the sessions where she spoke on her artistic process and approach to still life painting with visitors whilst painting the piece in the gallery throughout the day.
Coincidentally, earlier in the week we were gifted some beautiful plums from the garden of Dora Howard. These feature in the work alongside an arrangement of local flowers and colourful fabrics owned by Lesley.
The artwork is on display in the gallery alongside Lesley's current exhibition of recent oil paintings, 'Sunshine & the Seasons', until August 3rd.
