Russell Davies, writer and broadcaster and quiz master of Brain of Britain is 79 today. Happy Birthday Russell.
He is the author of the comprehensive and definitive biography of Ronald Searle, who is widely acknowledged as the greatest cartoonist illustrator post war.
First published by Sinclair-Stevenson in 1990, it was republished by Chris Beetles Gallery in 2003 with personal amendments and an updated bibliography by Ronald Searle himself.
During the month of April we will be offering the biography at half price, £20 to £10 as a birthday celebration.
