As the seasons change outside, we are lucky inside the gallery to be surrounded by Sara Midda's nature in watercolour.

This artwork from Sara's debut book
In and Out of the Garden (1981) is the perfect reminder to enjoy seasonal fruits toward the end of the year. Sara's early work illustrates the beauty of the garden throughout all seasons, and emphasises natures importance to our well being. Painted in her signature miniature style, they make our mouths water for both the fruit and illustration.

See this work & many more in our exhibition 'Sara Midda: a Retrospective', on display in the gallery until 15 November 2025.
