Ally Sloper's Half-Holiday was a popular magazine that was first published in May 1884 and was most famously illustrated in the 19th century by William Giles Baxter and William Fletcher Thomas. The magazine ceased publication in 1916, though it had two short lived revivals, first between 1922-1923 and then 1948-1949.
In 1976, Ally Sloper was revived by Alan Class Comics.Despite fan acclaim, it suffered from poor distribution and insufficient public interest and ceased after just four issues.
