The most popular cartoonist since the Second World War, Thelwell is best remembered for his little girls and their cheeky fat ponies. However, he was a wide-ranging artist who surveyed an impressive range of social subjects for a variety of newspapers and periodicals, most notably "Punch". His thirty-two books have sold over 2 million copies in the UK and been translated into many languages - including Japanese and Finnish. This book contains 177 works spanning his entire career.
