J Valentine Davis, RBA (1854-1930)
Known as Val Davis, a painter and draughtsman. Born in Liverpool and taught to paint by his father and brothers. Lived at No. 5 Langham Chambers between 1890-1900 amongst other artists associated with the Langham Sketching Club.
