L'arlésienne
Daudet's tragedy is set on a farm on the edge of the Camargue marshes. Frédéri is the elder son of Rose Mamai, whose father-in-law owns the farm. He has fallen in love with a girl from Arles and his family and friends are concerned to know more about her.
