In 1987 Sydney Harpley exhibited this design at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in the large medium size, as seen here, and also the maquette size (edition of 12). Both editions sold out and Sydney Harpley then exhibited a life size version at the RA in 1990, which also sold out.
