Paul Scofield as Harry, Lord Monchensey;
Dame Sybil Thorndike as his mother Amy, Dowager Lady Monchensey; Gwen Ffrangcon as Agatha, her younger sister; and Cyril Luckham as Gerald and David Horne as Charles, brothers of Amy’s deceased husband.
