'IN THE HIGHLANDS
In the Scottish Highlands the grandeur of mountain scenery is emphasized by the numerous lochs which fill the steep narrow valleys between the mountains, some of them formed in river valleys, others sea lochs, being really elongated inlets of the sea... On the left is an impression of Glencoe after the passing of a storm, with a rainbow throwing into strong relief the greens of the grassy hillsides and the bare rock of the towering mountains.'
