Volume Two of A Century of British Art concludes this extensive survey of modern British art with a focus on artistic traditions that emerged in the Post War period through to contemporary British landscape painting in the early years of the twenty-first century.
The exhibition will encompass a wide range of artists and styles, from Neo-Romantics such as John Piper and Alan Reynolds, through illustrators and cartoonists Eric Fraser, Betty Swanwick and Rowland Emett, sculptors Dora Gordine and Enzo Plazzotta, to some of the greatest modern British landscape painters such as Dame Laura Knight, Edward Seago and Ken Howard.
