Few combinations of writer and illustrator have ever consistently produced such great books. Delightful and unique stories by Michael Morpurgo, full of charm and excitement, are enhanced by the imaginative creativity of Michael Foreman’s illustrations.

Michael Foreman met Michael Morpurgo in a school corridor in St Ives in Cornwall in 1993 when they were doing a school visit. They knew instantly, that they would like to work together. So, it was decided that because of their love for Cornwall, an obvious subject for their first book would be King Arthur.
