'Painted on sunny mornings between 8.30 to 10.30 over the last month, the view from my window. I couldn’t resist adding a few camelias in a jar on the windowsill picked from local bushes. Everything is coming out now and I feel like I want to paint the whole view again, but I just love getting out and painting in the sun. Spring does bring hope and thoughts of love, I remember going on a CND (campaign for nuclear disarmament) March with my parents at Easter in the 1960s, and a love-in at Hyde Park...'
