Richard Henn Collins (1842-1911) was called to the bar in 1897, became Queen's Counsel in 1901 and was Master of Rolls between 1901-1907. In 1907 he received a life peerage, Baron Collins of Kensington. He was the Judge in Oscar Wilde's prosecution for criminal libel that he brought against the Marquess of Queensberry in 1895 (see also the Harry Furniss illustration of Sir Edward Clarke).
