Cecil Arthur Hunt only visited Capua once during his Italian travels, in 1925, when he toured Calabria with R H Kitson in a hired car from Rome. The sketch book of that trip (SB 16a) contains several sketches of Amalfi and Capua and in particular a ruined church on the outskirts of Capua.
